What makes your training different from others?
My lived experience. Over 13 years as a movement coach, 9+ years as a yoga instructor, thousands of hours of trainings and studies, guiding thousands of students in both 1:1 and group settings, shamanic initiations and studies (dietas), and leading and co-leading breathwork experiences since 2020.
This training is not simply about guiding breathwork — it is about understanding the intricacies of creating a safe container that supports the nervous system.
It is about supporting facilitators in doing their own deep personal work so they can show up with greater authenticity, credibility, and integrity.
It is about offering practitioners the tools and awareness needed to facilitate with confidence and hold space for others to do profound inner work.
And ultimately, it is about remembering our humanness, our humility, and why we walk this path at all.
What are your qualifications as a breathwork teacher?
My primary qualification is lived experience — witnessing how simple yet profound breathwork and pranayama practices have been in my own life. I have studied breathwork and pranayama through embodied experience and various online and in-person trainings since 2017.
If you are able, you are welcome to take one of my classes at Open in Venice Beach, CA.
What is your cancellation policy?
There is a $500 USD non-refundable deposit. The remainder of your tuition is refundable until six weeks before the training begins.
If you wish to cancel, you must notify me via email at mychalvprieto@gmail.com. Deposits are non-refundable. If you leave the training after it has begun, no credit or refund will be issued.

BREATHWORK IS A REMEMBRANCE
Across the Earth, the rhythm of the breath is reawakening as one of the most potent healing tools of our time.
With this remembrance comes a calling — for space holders, guides, and stewards who are willing to walk others home to their bodies, their truth, and their inner knowing.
In the new age of endless scrolling and relentless distractions many are hearing the call to bring more presence, compassion, and healing into this world.
You are feeling called to do this work, and you are here because you deeply care about showing up for others and being in-service. How we show up matters. You are not here to be the average breathwork facilitator. The world needs guides, teachers, and leaders who enthusiastically and genuinely care about what they do and how they show up.
If you have the desire to be the best version of yourself in the role of the teacher and care more about the safety and experience of your students than your ego, then you are exactly where you need to be.
It begins with ourselves. Our curiosities, our willingness to look at ourselves in the mirror and dive into our personal work of shedding and transformation. Along the way we gather tools from our own personal experiences and his helps us to fine-tune our unique and authentic voice.
I created this Breathwork Facilitator training as an initiation into the living lineage of the breath. It is a passage designed to anchor you in presence, integrity, and embodied wisdom, so that you may hold others with safety, clarity, and confidence as they journey inward.
You have been breathing for lifetimes. You do not need years of endless preparation to begin sharing these timeless practices. The breath itself is the teacher, and your lived experience is the altar from which you serve. So much of what delays one’s emergence is illusion — a story that keeps the heart waiting instead of offering itself.
What I offer is an invitation — a threshold, a doorway into a path of service, devotion, and profound alignment with the work your soul came here to do.
